May 29th is “529 Day” and brings an annual celebration of saving for education in 529 Plans. CollegeChoice 529 is helping Hoosiers celebrate 529 Day with special promotions and events around the state of Indiana throughout the month of May!

$529 “Learn to Earn” Giveaway

To mark 529 Day, all Hoosiers who complete our interactive CollegeChoice 529 Savings Guide from May 1-31 will be entered to win a $529 CollegeChoice 529 account deposit. The online module on the tax advantages and flexibility of CollegeChoice 529 can be completed in just a few short minutes. Simply learn for the chance to earn! The winner will be selected in early June 2018 following the contest period. See Official Rules for details.

Governor’s STEM Team

Once again, Indiana Treasurer of State Kelly Mitchell will join Governor Eric Holcomb in a Statehouse ceremony recognizing four exceptional high school seniors selected for the Governor’s STEM Team. The outstanding students in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics will each receive a $1,000 CollegeChoice account deposit to further their collegiate studies. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 29.
